We had a very enjoyable evening meal - good standard of cooking and excellent service. The brasserie was busy with pre-theatre diners but food was delivered at a good pace. Nice ambiance.

Drinks and food are the same everywhere what makes the difference is the atmosphere
This was a nice atmosphere in Leidseplein. The food was good, but nothing amazing. Service was slow and while they were friendly enough, it felt a bit like people were annoyed to be working. The oysters were very good. Fries were also delicious.
The atmosphere and ambience here were wonderful. It was an exquisite and beautiful experience. The food was great but not amazing. The service was interesting… very nice waiters, but we had 4 different servers throughout our dinner.
The beer was good and cold, which is sometimes hard to find here. Great for people watching!
Stopped for breakfast on our way out on Wednesday then went back later on in the day for a drink before we had to go to the airport. Service was fantastic. Waiter was very friendly. Dog friendly. Lovely food. Looks posh on the inside.
The family popped by for just a quick top up. The place itself was very nice, as you expect for a theatre cafe. Staff were helpful when needed upon. Food was pretty good, everyone seemed to like what we ordered. All in all, good experience.
One of the best places to get a breakfast in Amsterdam. This was my second visit there. Their eggs benedict is nearly perfect. The service can be improved. The atmosphere when you sit outside is great! Highly recommended!
After a long walk through the Vondelpark from one end to the other, we exited and found our way to the Leidseplein Road and to the grand looking building where we found a place to have lunch. The food was really good. The service was quick and the staff as friendly as almost all Dutch. We had some coffee afterwards and just took in the people walking by. Amsterdam is a great cafe sitting people watching city. Give this place a try and them make your way to the Dam Square from there. Don't forget to go through the flower market as well. Love Amsterdam!
Great place to have a drink and a bite on the beautiful Leidsplein. The waiters however, had me waiting for a long time to serve

Love the vibe here, gorgeous space, in the heart of tourist land but beers aren't priced like that's the case. Had a good burger for €14, bit more than some spots but came with good frites. Worth a stop—note, you may need to reserve on a weekend or when the theater has a show. Most tables were reserved when I walked in at 5pm on a Friday.

A good restaurant with good options for vegan. The staff was super friendly and helpful, she checked on us very often even though the restaurant was crowded.
Sat outside for lunch. Had a wonderful octopus salad. Service was sweet and friendly. It was a bit untidy outside and its a bit noisy from the trams etc. Super dog friendly. Water for my pooch etc
